Update – 14 October 2021
Temporary traffic lights on A287 (Farnham Road): October 2021
Our work to install a new roundabout on the A287 is progressing well, and we remain on track to complete all work in Autumn 2022.
Due to some unforeseen testing that we need to carry out on the carriageway surface, we have temporarily installed Single Alternative-Lane Traffic lights near the A287/Redfields Lane junction. This is so we can carry out the testing safely and efficiently.
The lights will only be in place until 18 October 2021 at the latest.
We apologise for any disruption this may cause and, as this was an unforeseen aspect of work, that we weren’t able to let people know in advance. We are committed to keeping traffic disruption relating to our work to a minimum.
Two-way free flow traffic will remain in place for the majority of our work. We will let people know in advance of any planned temporary traffic management measures.
